The attendance module has benefits to both parents and students. Parents can track their child’s presence and get notified concerning their absence or late attendance. Students can also stay up to date with their attendance information. The system is capable of marking manual and automated attendance and the report can produce the attendance summary of selected students.

Parent can get notified about their child’s discipline through a SMS. Therefore, parents can track their child activities through the system from anywhere at anytime. Students also can stay up to date with their discipline information.

Students can manage their extra-curricular activities and after school programs through the system. Also, parents get notified about their student’s co-curricular activities and get updates about it. Administrators can also identify top talents students with extra- curricular activities through the system.

Students can compare their own exam marks with previous terms via graph to analyze performance. Teachers can track & monitor student performance-term-wise/subject-wise/yearly-trends, and can provide online solutions to complete tasks in a timely-passion through the system. Parents can compare & contrast their child's educational performance termly via graphs. In addition, parents or students can download or share student materials and past papers. It allows the user to view term exam results, prefect details, scholarship details, academic achievements and attended seminars through the system.

The new Àkura, Advanced Notification Module, allows the user to broadcast notifications and SMS to parents, students, staff & alumni wherever they are in the world, at anytime in English, Sinhala or Tamil. SMS and mobile notifications can be sent to selected staff in different categories or to selected students.
Public Notifications can be Sent Either via SMS or Mobile Notifications to all the Users in the System.
There are Three Options to Choose From:

SMS only - To Broadcast SMS Only
Mobile Notifications (Unlimited) only -To broadcast Mobile App Notifications only
SMS & Mobile Notifications -To broadcast both SMS and Mobile Notifications (users who have installed the Mobile app will receive Mobile Notifications, others will receive SMS)

Through the system the users can track extensive the health-related information of students. Parents get notifications about their child’s health. The system has all the details of a student’s health history. Thus, this module helps the parents and the school to monitor their children’s health easily.

Users can track upcoming and past events in the school. Past students can also get notified about school events like prize givings, sport meets, etc.

Every user can maintain their own Àkura user profile account. In a student profile it has a photograph of the student and the general information, previous school details, health conditions like different details. Students can edit their profile.
